Nityo Infotech is hiring an Underwriting Assistant

Responsibilities

Set up new submissions in the clearance system following defined protocols
Support underwriters in managing quote, binder, and policy issuance processes
Collect and organize data and reports such as loss runs, risk evaluations, and loss ratings to aid underwriting decisions
Help calculate insurance rates and premiums under guidance from underwriters
Examine incoming applications for correctness and completeness
Contribute to designing and improving team underwriting workflows and procedures, including maintaining underwriting files for all bound accounts
Coordinate with producers and follow up on missing or pending information
Process and distribute binders, endorsements, and policies according to management-defined timelines and standards
Ensure all policies are accurately prepared based on final binders and reviewed by underwriting personnel
Maintain and organize documentation for all accounts
