The Senior UI/UX Product Designer shapes intuitive and visually engaging experiences for complex, data-rich web applications. This role works closely with Development, Product, Sales, Marketing, and external clients to ensure designs are user-focused, accessible, and scalable across key platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develops and carries out usability testing strategies to evaluate product effectiveness
- Collaborates with stakeholders and end users to inform cohesive product design solutions
- Proactively gathers design requirements and validates concepts through user feedback and research
- Guides and supports junior UI/UX designers in skill development and project execution
- Leads the design of user interfaces and overall customer experience for core web applications
- Balances and prioritizes multiple project deadlines in a fast-moving environment
- Uses data and user insights to inform and justify design decisions
- Maintains and enhances existing design systems and design standards
- Performs additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Expertise in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with exposure to modern frameworks like React or Angular
- Passion for design within a software-as-a-service environment
- Focused on delivering solutions that meet client needs and expectations
- Strong ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Capable of managing personal workload and meeting deadlines consistently
- Committed to ongoing professional growth and skill development
- High-level analytical thinking and evaluation skills
- Proficient with computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office applications
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong abilities in documentation
- Clear and effective communication in both spoken and written form
- Well-organized with strong interpersonal abilities
- Skilled in identifying and resolving complex design challenges
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a closely related field
- Minimum of four years of professional experience in UI/UX design
