About the Role
This role is responsible for managing corporate travel logistics and processing employee expense reports. The individual will ensure adherence to company policies, maintain accurate financial records, and support internal teams with timely reporting and reconciliation.
Responsibilities
- Process employee expense submissions in compliance with company guidelines
- Review and verify travel and entertainment costs for accuracy
- Coordinate with employees to resolve discrepancies in expense reports
- Ensure timely reimbursement of approved claims
- Maintain up-to-date records of all travel and expense transactions
- Support month-end closing activities related to expense reporting
- Identify and report policy violations or unusual spending patterns
- Collaborate with finance teams to streamline expense workflows
- Assist in audits by providing detailed expense documentation
- Monitor compliance with internal financial controls
- Respond to employee inquiries about expense policies
- Track corporate travel bookings and related costs
- Reconcile credit card statements tied to business expenses
- Generate periodic reports on spending trends and variances
- Help improve expense management tools and processes
- Ensure data privacy and confidentiality in financial handling
- Stay current with regulatory requirements affecting expense reporting
- Support integration of new software used for travel and expense tracking
- Work with HR and payroll on related employee financial matters
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
- Provide training materials for employees on expense submission
- Escalate recurring issues to management for resolution
- Assist in budget preparation with historical expense data
- Promote cost-effective travel and spending practices
- Ensure consistency in coding and categorization of expenses
