Culina Group is hiring a Transport Planner

Responsibilities

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication across teams to promote collaboration and teamwork.
  • Ensure drivers report for duty on time and coordinate substitute coverage when necessary.
  • Optimize the use of personnel and vehicles by accurately managing the company’s diary sheet or planner.
  • Plan and assign vehicle routes to maximize revenue and operational efficiency, updating changes in real time.
  • Guarantee completion of essential tasks such as postcode verification without exception.
  • Evaluate delivery performance data to meet vehicle-specific KPIs and revenue goals.
  • Coordinate and supervise loading and pre-loading operations to enable on-time dispatch.
  • Collaborate with the TPN team to improve depot efficiency, profitability, and operational synergies.
  • Respond to driver inquiries promptly and ensure all collections and deliveries occur according to schedule, including conducting driver briefings and debriefings.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, preserving positive relationships.
  • Build and sustain productive relationships with customers, TPN depots, and internal Eezehaul staff.
  • Complete administrative tasks accurately and within established deadlines.
  • Keep all operational systems current with precise data input and manage proof of delivery documentation.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and appropriately.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management from time to time.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and support ongoing analysis to improve service delivery KPIs.
