About the Role

This role involves conducting detailed transient analysis to evaluate system behavior under dynamic conditions, supporting engineering teams in validating designs and identifying potential risks through simulation and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform transient event simulations using advanced modeling tools
  • Evaluate system responses to sudden changes in operational conditions
  • Collaborate with design teams to interpret simulation results
  • Identify potential failure modes based on transient behavior
  • Develop models to predict performance under variable loads
  • Support root cause analysis for system anomalies
  • Document findings and present technical reports to stakeholders
  • Validate simulation accuracy against test data
  • Contribute to risk assessment processes for new designs
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety protocols
  • Optimize system performance based on transient analysis outcomes
  • Work cross-functionally with electrical and mechanical engineers
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of simulation methodologies
  • Improve analysis workflows through automation where possible
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical feedback
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies between predicted and actual behavior
  • Support certification and regulatory documentation
  • Apply principles of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics as needed
  • Use data visualization techniques to communicate results
  • Conduct sensitivity analyses to assess parameter impacts
  • Assist in developing test plans for validation
  • Monitor emerging technologies relevant to transient modeling
  • Ensure data integrity and traceability in all analyses
  • Adapt models for different operating environments
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices
