Responsibilities
- Assist a team in conducting traffic studies, including forecasting, safety evaluations, simulation modeling, and preliminary design planning.
- Help produce project documentation such as drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates, reports, and presentation materials.
- Contribute to ITS and emerging technology initiatives using structured systems engineering practices.
- Take on diverse roles across traffic and intelligent transportation projects as needed.
- Engage in the development of technical outputs including plans, reports, memos, and specifications.
- Support early-career team members by reviewing their technical submissions and project documents.
- Complete assigned work on time and within budget while meeting established quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with internal technical groups and external stakeholders such as clients and subcontractors.
- Carry out project tasks according to schedule and financial constraints with minimal oversight.
- Independently execute core engineering design tasks for project components.
- Partner with business development personnel to identify and pursue new project prospects.
