About the Role

The Trade Compliance Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliance with export and import regulations, supporting internal audits, maintaining compliance documentation, and assisting with trade-related inquiries across global operations.

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify export documentation for regulatory accuracy
  • Assist in preparing for internal and external trade audits
  • Maintain records in compliance with international trade laws
  • Monitor changes in trade regulations and assess impact
  • Support classification of goods under Harmonized System codes
  • Collaborate with logistics teams on shipment documentation
  • Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective actions
  • Respond to inquiries related to import and export procedures
  • Ensure proper licensing for controlled shipments
  • Track regulatory updates from government agencies
  • Conduct compliance training for internal stakeholders
  • Audit data in trade systems for completeness and correctness
  • Work with legal and supply chain teams on cross-border issues
  • Maintain compliance with economic sanctions programs
  • Prepare reports on trade compliance metrics
  • Support due diligence for new international partners
  • Verify end-use and end-user information for exports
  • Assist in responding to government agency inquiries
  • Ensure accurate data entry in customs and trade platforms
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives
  • Evaluate compliance impact of new product introductions
  • Support classification of technology and software exports
  • Document compliance procedures and updates
  • Coordinate with third-party logistics providers on filings
  • Monitor restricted party screening results
