We are seeking a dynamic Field Service Engineer for Norway or Finland to support our optical and ophthalmic equipment operations across healthcare environments.
What You'll Do
As a Service Technician, you will be critical in maintaining our advanced diagnostic equipment's performance. Your role involves comprehensive technical support through on-site and remote interventions, ensuring optimal device functionality for eye care professionals.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Installing, maintaining, calibrating, and repairing diagnostic instruments
- Proactively troubleshooting to minimize operational interruptions
- Delivering emergency maintenance and on-site technical support
- Facilitating product demonstrations and workflow integration
- Maintaining precise documentation and adherence to quality standards
- Managing service schedules and spare parts inventory professionally

Qualifications:
- Technical/vocational qualification in Electronics, Biomedical Technology, or related field
- 5+ years field service/maintenance experience in medical devices or precision instruments

- Proven ability to interpret technical documentation
- Experience with service management systems
- Fluent English; Nordic language proficiency preferred
- Additional IT/optical engineering education and regulatory standard familiarity beneficial
