Overview
The Marketing Coordinator will serve as the primary contact for assigned projects, managing critical tasks that power comprehensive marketing efforts. You'll collaborate closely with the Creative Marketing Manager to ensure asset development remains on schedule and support Campaign Managers in executing strategic plans. Direct communication with game developers and internal stakeholders will be essential to maintain workflow efficiency and meet project deadlines. This role demands exceptional project management skills combined with genuine gaming enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Vendor Management
- Coordinate external vendors, agencies, and production houses for marketing asset creation
- Develop and enforce project plans, timelines, deliverables, and approval workflows
- Monitor project milestones, dependencies, risks, and changes
- Manage budgetary aspects, invoicing, and vendor contracts
Asset Coordination & Digital Asset Management
- Serve as digital asset manager: organize, version control, and distribute marketing materials
- Collect information and raw assets from developers and partners
- Update marketing support documentation
- Track creative deliverables across stakeholders
Campaign Planning & Execution
- Assist in developing go-to-market strategies for titles
- Ensure marketing elements are executed according to plan
- Maintain comprehensive marketing calendar
- Coordinate promotional content scheduling
Platform & Storefront Marketing
- Prepare and submit content to digital storefronts
- Engage with first-party platform teams
- Optimize storefront presentations post-launch
Analysis, Insights & Process Improvement
- Support campaign reporting and performance metrics
- Identify optimization opportunities
- Contribute to process standardization
Community & Brand Support
- Support community growth initiatives
- Coordinate feedback and alignment across marketing teams
Requirements & Qualifications
- 2-4 years in video game marketing/publishing
