About the Role
You will join a cross-functional team using agile practices to develop and maintain a cloud-native application on AWS. We seek test engineers with strong communication abilities and hands-on experience in Node.js and modern test automation tools. Prior AWS knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory, as development opportunities are available.
Responsibilities
- Determine relevant test scenarios based on user story specifications.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated end-to-end and API tests using Node.js and Playwright.
- Revise existing regression test suites to align with updated requirements.
- Lead initiatives related to CI/CD pipeline improvements and AWS-based DevOps tasks.
- Collaborate with software developers and business stakeholders to clarify testing expectations.
- Ensure test processes are comprehensive, repeatable, and capable of scaling with system growth.
- Conduct peer reviews to uphold high standards in test code and documentation quality.
- Engage actively in all agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
