Test and Validation Engineer
Ensure the performance and reliability of advanced SSD, memory, and AI hardware through comprehensive validation processes. You'll create detailed test plans aligned with industry standards such as NVMe, PCIe, and JEDEC, and execute functional, endurance, and stress testing to verify product integrity under real-world conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test scripts and frameworks using Python, Java, and C++ to streamline validation workflows.
- Develop test cases and reports based on technical specifications and compliance requirements.
- Run system-level testing on SSDs to evaluate long-term reliability and performance limits.
- Collaborate with firmware, SoC, NAND, and hardware teams to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- Use JIRA to document defects, analyze failure patterns, and track resolutions to closure.
- Enhance existing automation systems by integrating AI-based testing tools and modern software practices.
- Keep current with advancements in storage protocols, memory architectures, and AI-assisted validation methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Solid understanding of system validation principles and experience with storage and memory technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl, and familiarity with test automation frameworks.
- Experience working with deep-learning-enhanced testing platforms is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, precision in execution, and a focus on data-driven results.
- Clear communication skills for effective coordination across engineering disciplines.
