About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving adoption of farm technology within a specific region, supporting customers through the sales journey, and achieving set sales targets through proactive outreach and relationship development.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage farmers interested in adopting new on-farm technologies
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical information to potential customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farming clients
- Travel regularly within the assigned territory to meet customers in person
- Educate customers on the benefits and operation of livestock monitoring systems
- Follow up on leads and manage a personal sales pipeline
- Report on sales performance and customer interactions
- Collaborate with internal support teams to resolve customer questions
- Attend agricultural events and field days to promote the product
- Support onboarding of new customers with initial setup and training
- Monitor customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for expansion
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and outcomes
- Represent the company at industry gatherings and local farm meetings
- Stay informed about changes in farming practices and technology trends
- Work autonomously while adhering to regional sales goals
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Identify potential challenges in technology adoption and offer solutions
- Coordinate with technical staff for installation support when needed
- Promote the long-term value of digital tools in livestock management
- Adapt communication style to suit diverse farming operations
- Contribute feedback from the field to product and support teams
