Role Overview

As a Tendering Advisor - Pressure Pumping, you will lead the inquiry-to-order process with a focus on maximizing profitability and minimizing risk. You will be responsible for shaping and delivering compelling commercial and technical proposals that align with strategic business goals. Your expertise will ensure that pricing, terms, and risk assessments are optimized across tenders in your assigned region and segment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and submission of comprehensive tender documentation, ensuring compliance and competitiveness
  • Collaborate with technical, sales, and commercial teams to design value-driven solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Analyze technical requirements and commercial conditions to balance risk and reward in every proposal
  • Apply pricing frameworks while identifying opportunities for strategic deviations to enhance competitiveness
  • Work closely with global and regional teams to align on pricing strategies, contract terms, and market positioning
  • Support cross-functional initiatives, including multi-product line tenders and integrated service offerings
  • Conduct post-decision reviews on lost strategic bids to capture insights and improve future outcomes
  • Ensure smooth handover from tendering to execution, maintaining integrity of customer commitments
  • Drive standardization and best practices in proposal development using tools such as Deal Machine and CPQ systems

Qualifications and Skills

A bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in commercial or sales roles within the oilfield services sector are required. You must also have substantial technical knowledge of pressure pumping operations—including cementing, coiled tubing, and drilling fluids. Fluency in Azerbaijani is essential, along with strong command of English and Russian.

Proven ability in managing complex tenders, P&L considerations, and multi-stakeholder projects is critical. You should demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, leadership in cross-functional environments, and experience using commercial tools for margin and pricing optimization. Some travel will be required.

A master’s degree is preferred but not required.
