Position Overview
We are looking for state-licensed mental health clinicians to conduct remote diagnostic evaluations for individuals seeking Emotional Support Animals (ESA) or Psychiatric Service Animals (PSA). This is a contract-based role structured as a 1099 arrangement, offering flexible hours and the ability to work remotely while serving clients across designated U.S. states.
Key Responsibilities
- Accept and respond to client referrals within 24 hours for states where you hold active licensure
- Conduct secure video consultations to assess mental health conditions using DSM-5 guidelines
- Apply standardized assessment tools and clinical judgment to evaluate client needs
- Determine clinical appropriateness for ESA or PSA certification based on diagnostic findings
- Collaborate with support staff to ensure accurate documentation and timely processing of client records
- Complete required evaluations and issue recommendations efficiently, maintaining professional standards
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted license to diagnose and practice independently in Guam, Indiana, Ohio, or Colorado
- For Colorado applicants: Must hold an MD (Doctor of Medicine) credential
- Proficiency in virtual consultation platforms and comfort with remote clinical assessment
- Availability to work weekends as needed to support client scheduling
Compensation & Work Structure
- Earn $25 per completed consultation on a piecemeal basis
- Flexible scheduling with the ability to set your own hours across seven days each week
- Remote telehealth role with no geographic restrictions beyond state licensure requirements
- Contract position; no benefits or equity provided
