Inductive Automation is hiring a Technology Ecosystems Manager

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic relationship planning with key technology partners to align with organizational objectives.
  • Design, launch, and manage high-impact ecosystem programs from start to finish.
  • Initiate and lead cross-functional collaborations between technology partners and internal departments such as Community and Marketing to generate enterprise-level value.
  • Establish standardized practices for alliance engagement, performance tracking, and relationship quality across the division.
  • Develop advanced reporting and pipeline analysis to deliver actionable insights for executive decision-making.
  • Maintain expert oversight of CRM systems and use Asana to guide program strategy and execution at scale.
  • Ensure strong alignment between technology alliances and internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Sales Engineering.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and serve as the internal expert on technology ecosystems.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements to improve alliance operations and partner recruitment efficiency.
  • Conduct technical evaluations of third-party providers and translate partner roadmaps into scalable joint value propositions for the user community.
  • Represent the company as a recognized expert at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or 7 years of equivalent professional experience.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Purdue Model (Levels 0–5) and how cloud, edge, and hardware technologies integrate within industrial networks.
  • Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols including MQTT (Sparkplug B), OPC UA, Modbus, and BACnet for technical partner assessment.
  • Understanding of Docker, containerization, and edge computing hardware in distributed industrial environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage customer and partner relationships effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with industrial automation, manufacturing, or industrial software sectors.
  • Certification in Ignition platform.
  • Experience using alliance management platforms, CRM systems, and project management tools like Asana.
  • Experience applying AI-driven tools to enhance alliance program planning or execution.
