Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the installation of Sarnafil Roof Systems to ensure correct application procedures are followed.
- Train applicators to properly and efficiently install Sarnafil roofing and waterproofing systems to ensure quality and contractor profitability.
- Provide training to others as needed.
- Oversee the application process by attending job starts and performing in-progress project visits to monitor and enforce proper installation.
- Assure that application is in accordance with good roofing practices and Sarnafil specifications through documentation with field reports.
- Help resolve installation problems and issues as they arise.
- Conduct final inspections for technical acceptance for warranty issuance.
- Act as the liaison between the applicator, General Contractor, consultant, architect, building owner, and Sarnafil during the installation process.
- Advise Technical Manager concerning progress, issues, problems, and project needs.
- Assist Sales and others with pre-job meetings, roof surveys, and warranty claim issues.
- Follow up on leak and warranty claim calls, and complete necessary Sarnafil repairs as needed.
- Inspect existing Sarnafil roofs for warranty transfers, warranty extensions, and annual inspections.
- Participate in job meetings with contractors, architects, building owners, Sarnafil sales personnel, and applicators.
- Cut samples using hot air welding manually and with the Sarnamatic welder.
- Meet with maintenance men and/or building owners to review maintenance items.
- Support Sales, Marketing, and Technical departments with miscellaneous items as needed including, but not limited to, trade shows, models, field tests, roof tours, etc.
- Follow company environmental and safety policies.
- Perform other projects as they arise.
Requirements
- Experience as a Technical Service Representative or Roofing Inspector.
- Ability to train applicators in proper installation of Sarnafil roofing and waterproofing systems.
- Experience overseeing roofing application processes, including job starts and in-progress visits.
- Ability to document field inspections and ensure compliance with Sarnafil specifications and good roofing practices.
- Experience resolving installation issues and conducting final inspections for warranty issuance.
- Strong communication skills to act as a liaison between multiple stakeholders including contractors, architects, building owners, and internal teams.
- Ability to cut samples using hot air welding (manual and Sarnamatic welder).
- Willingness to support Sales, Marketing, and Technical departments with trade shows, field tests, roof tours, and other activities.
- Adherence to company environmental and safety policies.

Remote (City/Region) — Chicago

- Requires on-site presence for job starts, in-progress visits, and final inspections.
