Anduril Industries is hiring a Technical Operations Engineer - Air & Ground Deterrence

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and provide ongoing support for advanced technology solutions across global locations
  • Engage with products during early development phases and collaborate with engineering to refine performance over time
  • Lead technical implementation in unpredictable and demanding operational settings
  • Mentor team members on complex systems through hands-on knowledge transfer
  • Continuously learn and become proficient with new technologies and platforms
  • Train end users on system operation and assist with resolving technical issues
  • Support sales teams by advising on operational design for technical effectiveness
  • Provide actionable feedback to development teams for product enhancement
  • Operate and maintain Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems in diverse environments
  • Work alongside mission personnel during live exercises, training events, and field deployments
  • Maintain expertise in a broad array of sensor and effector systems used globally
  • Lead diverse teams in remote or resource-constrained environments to achieve mission objectives

Member of the Technical Operations team, working in close coordination with the Mission Operations team

  • Position located in the UK
  • High travel commitment: up to 80% of the year, including domestic and international trips
  • Valid passport required
  • Willingness to deploy to remote global regions for durations of up to two months
  • Ability to secure and retain UK security clearance
  • Must satisfy health and medical standards before field deployment
  • Work includes operations in austere conditions, tower climbing, and use of basic hand tools
  • Experience with AC/DC power systems, generators, and load calculations required
  • Proficiency in using a multimeter to measure voltage, current, and resistance
  • Ability to terminate power cables using NEMA connectors
  • Ability to terminate RJ45 network connectors
  • Experience with fiber optic and RF systems, including point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and mesh networks
  • Understanding of fundamental antenna principles and spectrum analysis
  • Demonstrated ability in systematic troubleshooting and technical documentation
