InfoCentric is looking for a Technical Lead / Senior Data Engineer to take on a high-impact leadership role. You will be instrumental in designing and delivering modern, enterprise-scale data platforms for our clients, leading architecture decisions, guiding engineering teams, and partnering closely with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable cloud solutions.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and cost-effective data platforms on Microsoft Azure.
- Architect and orchestrate robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Design and optimise enterprise-grade data models in Snowflake.
- Implement transformation and analytics engineering frameworks using dbt.
- Drive large-scale data transformation programs across multi-source, high-volume environments.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and uplift delivery capability.
- Engage directly with client stakeholders to shape solution architecture and ensure successful outcomes.
What We're Looking For
- Several years of experience in data engineering, ideally within consulting or professional services.
- Proven experience leading and delivering large-scale enterprise data programs.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure data services (Data Lake, Synapse, Azure SQL).
- Deep hands-on expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Deep hands-on expertise in Snowflake.
- Deep hands-on expertise in dbt.
- Advanced SQL skills and strong data modelling expertise (dimensional modelling, ELT patterns).
- Experience designing and implementing cloud-native data architectures.
- Experience implementing data quality, lineage, and governance frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capability across multi-stakeholder delivery environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience with a consulting background.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience contributing to solution architecture and technical design documentation.
