Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver full-stack features for B2B scientific software, covering backend services and frontend interfaces.
- Drive features from concept through to production while maintaining high standards of code quality, performance, and long-term maintainability.
- Architect and manage scalable APIs and services using REST and gRPC protocols to integrate machine learning models into product functionalities.
- Create and maintain data processing pipelines using core technologies including Python, SQL, and associated tools.
- Build product layers on top of SDKs and model packages, providing feedback to improve interface design and functionality.
- Define and enforce engineering best practices and architectural patterns for owned systems.
- Lead technical design efforts for complex, cross-functional challenges with unclear requirements.
- Support junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
- Leverage AI-assisted coding tools such as opencode and Claude to increase development efficiency.
- Contribute to the adoption and refinement of AI-native software development workflows within the engineering team.
- Collaborate closely with Product Engineers and infrastructure specialists to ensure solutions meet scientific accuracy and customer needs.
