Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end technical implementation of high-voltage substation projects across various voltage levels
- Ensure coherence between primary and secondary systems, including protection strategies
- Manage cross-disciplinary coordination between electrical design, civil engineering, and grid connection criteria
- Track project performance in terms of technical quality, timeline adherence, and budget compliance
- Formulate and standardize substation technical designs, covering layout and system structure
- Guarantee seamless integration of protection, control, and automation functions
- Assist in developing concepts for grid interconnection and electrical system design
- Preserve technical continuity throughout all stages of project development
- Uphold compliance with German engineering codes and relevant regulatory requirements
- Provide technical support during permitting and approval procedures with authorities and grid operators
- Verify alignment with utility-specific grid codes and connection conditions
- Serve as the primary technical liaison among clients, grid operators, internal teams, and external contractors
- Convert complex technical specifications into actionable engineering outputs
- Facilitate technical consensus and decision-making among diverse project parties
- Contribute to innovative substation solutions that support the transition to renewable energy
- Promote advancements in engineering practices and capabilities within the organization
- Help design adaptable, scalable infrastructure solutions for future energy demands
