Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and cost-efficiency standards across multiple cloud platforms, including evaluation of service tradeoffs.
- Partner with product owners and teams to define delivery priorities and refine requirements with a focus on testability, consistency, and completeness.
- Engage directly in backend development using Java, covering design, implementation, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
- Demonstrate adaptability and initiative in learning and applying new technologies as needed.
- Define and maintain technical best practices and standards that enhance the delivery lifecycle, including automation and security integration.
- Collaborate with team members to offer architectural and design direction to engineering peers.
- Set coding standards, develop core architectural components, and conduct thorough code reviews.
- Assist team members with HR-related processes, including career development, performance evaluations, and resolving work impediments.
- Lead daily scrum meetings, monitor team progress, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders across product, engineering, QA, and program functions.
- Coordinate efficiently between offshore and onsite teams to ensure alignment and on-time delivery.
- Design and guide the development of solutions involving cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, microservices, security, and automation.
- Promote predictable delivery, improve team productivity, enforce sprint discipline, and manage risks proactively within an Agile framework.
