Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end backend systems, from design to deployment, promoting code that is clean, scalable, secure, and easy to maintain.
- Define technical vision by making core architecture choices and advancing engineering quality through proven best practices.
- Work closely with product, design, mobile, and data teams to build customer-driven features with measurable impact.
- Guide engineers through hands-on mentorship, supporting career development and cultivating a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
- Lead the creation of new platform initiatives from inception, establishing a solid technical foundation for future growth.
- Enforce rigorous standards in testing, monitoring, observability, and DevOps to ensure system stability and efficient development workflows.
- Design systems with built-in security and compliance, prioritizing data protection and privacy requirements.
