Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation and configuration of medical equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance and performance verification of systems
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with minimal downtime
- Provide real-time technical support during clinical procedures
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure proper device operation
- Document service activities and outcomes accurately
- Respond to urgent service requests within defined timeframes
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Escalate complex technical problems when necessary
- Maintain inventory of tools and replacement parts
- Follow quality assurance protocols for all service tasks
- Support product upgrades and software updates
- Train healthcare providers on equipment use and safety
- Adhere to company service level agreements
- Work independently while maintaining team communication
Nice to Have
- Certification in Biomedical Equipment Technology (CBET)
- Experience with implantable medical devices
- Background in cardiac or neurological technologies
- Advanced knowledge of software-driven medical systems
- Prior experience in a clinical engineering role
