AECOM is hiring a Technical Director

Responsibilities

  • Guide the planning, engineering, and deployment of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for large-scale industrial and commercial developments, ensuring alignment with technical requirements and recognized industry norms
  • Supervise and support mechanical engineering staff and technical personnel, promoting ongoing skill development and a mindset of operational excellence
  • Monitor project schedules, financial allocations, and workforce planning to guarantee timely and cost-efficient execution of mechanical works
  • Perform in-depth technical evaluations and resolve issues in advanced HVAC installations to detect performance gaps and propose corrective actions
  • Create and manage proactive maintenance strategies and standard operating procedures to enhance system reliability and service life
  • Verify that all HVAC installations meet applicable safety codes, environmental laws, and construction regulations in India
  • Coordinate with design professionals, construction firms, and end clients to convert project goals into functional mechanical designs
  • Oversee supplier partnerships and assess equipment specifications to balance performance, durability, and economic efficiency
  • Produce comprehensive technical records, project analyses, and financial projections for bids and executive reviews
  • Maintain awareness of advancements in HVAC technology and evolving best practices in mechanical engineering
