AECOM is hiring a Technical Director Ports

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver large-scale, technically complex ports and maritime infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and client satisfaction.
  • Leverage your extensive Defence experience to help win and delivery large scale maritime programs.
  • Growing and coaching a cohort of passionate maritime professionals
  • Provide strategic technical direction and leadership across project lifecycles, mentoring engineers at all levels to support capability development and succession planning.
  • Ensure rigorous compliance with local and international maritime codes and standards, while proactively managing risk and safety considerations.
  • Build and sustain strong client and stakeholder relationships, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, high-impact engineering solutions.
  • Champion innovation in project delivery, drive continuous improvement in quality assurance processes, and represent the company as a thought leader through industry publications, conference presentations, and professional forums.

Requirements

  • Highly experienced Technical Director
  • Strong Defence experience
  • Experience leading large-scale, technically complex ports and maritime infrastructure projects
