Provide technical leadership and solutions for client and project technical queries into three waters related infrastructure projects, the local ‘go-to’ for technical assurance, project verification and technical ‘sign off’ requirements.
Build client relationships across both local Christchurch and South Island regional water clients and stakeholders as a trusted advisor, including supporting the establishment of the new water entities.
Support project delivery excellence across technical verification, design governance, risk management, working within project commercial requirements as well as working with the broader Water Leadership team in New Zealand.
Contribute technical expertise both throughout the AECOM New Zealand team, as well as with global subject matter experts.
Work with the Christchurch Team Lead to support technical learning, mentoring, and development of team members across all career levels.

Director level experience in technical and delivery leadership
Technical expertise in three waters infrastructure (water supply, wastewater, stormwater)
Ability to provide technical assurance, project verification, and technical sign-off
Experience building relationships with local government, regional councils, and water-related stakeholders
Proven ability to work with remote technical and delivery teams
Experience applying global water expertise in local contexts

Local knowledge of Christchurch and South Island water projects
Experience supporting emerging water service entities
Track record contributing to technical reputation and growth in water infrastructure sector
