Lead technical delivery across backend and machine learning teams in a globally distributed, remote-first environment. As a Technical Delivery Manager, you'll ensure seamless coordination between R&D and ML functions, driving projects from concept to production with clarity and efficiency. Your role is central to maintaining technical alignment, removing roadblocks, and keeping delivery timelines on track across multiple interdependent teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle delivery for backend and machine learning initiatives
- Facilitate collaboration between engineering, product, QA, and DevOps to maintain technical coherence
- Clarify priorities, manage dependencies, and ensure consistent communication across technical units
- Identify systemic delays and implement solutions to accelerate time-to-market
- Support technical teams in breaking down complex tasks and setting realistic delivery goals
- Ensure production releases meet quality standards without compromising on scope or context
- Drive execution in a rapidly evolving technical landscape with a high degree of autonomy
What You Bring
- Proven background in software engineering, ideally with hands-on experience in backend systems or machine learning
- Deep understanding of system architecture and how technical components interact
- Ability to engage at a technical level when needed, including reviewing design or implementation details
- Track record of managing delivery in cross-functional environments
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ownership mindset and adaptability in high-pressure, fast-changing settings
- Minimum of 5 years in technical development roles, with experience in delivery leadership or team coordination
