Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features for a digital tradie marketplace platform
- Write production code while actively guiding and supporting team developers
- Lead architectural planning and shape the long-term direction of the software systems
- Maintain high standards of code quality and software delivery across the team
- Collaborate closely with the Development Manager, product teams, and other departments
- Translate unclear project goals into detailed technical plans and organized multi-repository tasks
- Take ownership of system stability, lead incident management, and resolve recurring production issues
- Develop internal processes and tools that enhance team productivity beyond individual contributions
- Remain actively involved in coding, including shipping features and reviewing pull requests
- Serve as the primary engineering contact for product and design teams, overseeing delivery from concept to launch
