Responsibilities
- Collaborate daily with the Head of Product to translate vision into a robust technical roadmap
- Be engineering's voice in product discovery
- Pioneer AI-native workflows using AI tools to accelerate team velocity
- Lead integration of LLMs, agents, and automation into the Sastrify platform
- Lead by example: write high-quality, production-ready code across the full stack (React/Node.js)
- Tackle the most complex technical challenges personally
- Evolve full-stack architecture pragmatically to ensure performance and cost-effectiveness at scale
- Evaluate new feature requests for technical risk and effort
- Provide high-level estimates and alternative paths to achieve business goals
- Drive technical strategy for integrating with diverse, high-volume customer data sources
- Ensure robust data ingestion, reliability, and architectural transparency
- Advocate for and implement best practices in IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD
- Keep deployment cycles fast and reliable
- Drive technical excellence through deep code reviews, pair programming, and setting standards for documentation and testing
Requirements
- 8+ years in software development
- 3+ years in a senior or staff-level role within a high-growth SaaS environment
- Expert-level TypeScript/Node.js/React
- Equally comfortable optimizing a React component and debugging a PostgreSQL query
- Deep AWS Serverless experience (Lambda, EventBridge, etc.) and Terraform
- Proven track record taking products from concept to production at scale
- Fluent English
- Ability to influence without formal authority
