Shape the Foundation of a Growing Telehealth Platform
We’re building a new customer onboarding system that serves as the first touchpoint for patients entering our digital health ecosystem. As the Tech Lead, you’ll be responsible for designing the architecture, making key technical decisions, and delivering the first production-ready version entirely from scratch.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end technical design across backend, frontend, and infrastructure layers
- Build and scale a reliable, user-facing platform with performance and usability at its core
- Collaborate directly with company founders to align engineering with product and growth goals
- Own the development lifecycle from concept to deployment, with a strong focus on maintainability
- Guide future engineering hires and contribute to team structure as we grow
- Implement multi-step user flows that support eligibility checks, treatment options, and recommendations
What We’re Looking For
- At least 8 years of full-stack development experience
- Deep familiarity with Node.js, React, and TypeScript in production environments
- Proven track record building systems from 0 to 1 that handle real user load
- Strong grasp of relational databases, particularly Postgres
- Hands-on experience with AWS and infrastructure-level decision-making
- Direct experience using Claude Code to accelerate development workflows
- Ability to balance scalability, reliability, and speed when making technical tradeoffs
- Leadership experience mentoring engineers or contributing to hiring
- Comfort operating independently in ambiguous, fast-moving settings
Nice-to-Have
- Background in direct-to-consumer digital platforms
- Experience integrating payment systems like Stripe
- Prior work designing A/B testing workflows using tools such as Optimizely
- Exposure to building complex, multi-phase onboarding experiences
