Responsibilities
- Lead architectural planning for backend systems that are scalable, secure, and resilient
- Develop clean, sustainable code while establishing engineering best practices
- Support career development of mid- and senior-tier engineering staff
- Partner with Product, Design, and Data teams to deliver full-cycle solutions
- Oversee technical roadmaps, code quality, and project prioritization with long-term vision
- Promote a culture of accountability, learning, and shared knowledge across engineering
- Detect and reduce technical debt to enhance system efficiency and team output
- Advocate for tools that improve development speed and code quality, including CI/CD, version control, and monitoring
- Maintain strong product alignment to ensure backend systems effectively serve customer and business needs
