Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of backend services using Java
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical roadmaps
- Mentor engineers in best practices for code quality and system design
- Drive adoption of scalable and maintainable architecture patterns
- Oversee API design and integration across internal and external systems
- Ensure systems meet performance, reliability, and security standards
- Participate in code reviews to maintain engineering excellence
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
- Guide migration from legacy to modern service-oriented architectures
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies and frameworks
- Promote automated testing and continuous integration practices
- Work closely with frontend teams to ensure seamless integration
- Define and monitor key system performance metrics
- Support deployment processes and infrastructure improvements
- Champion documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
