Responsibilities
- Examine intricate federal, state, and local tax filings prepared by tax personnel to verify correctness, thoroughness, and adherence to relevant tax codes and regulations
- Offer expert technical advice on tax-related matters
- Recognize potential tax savings and ensure clients fully utilize all qualifying deductions and credits
- Work closely with engagement teams to support timely and efficient delivery of tax projects
- Investigate and evaluate complex tax topics, including emerging tax legislation and its impact
- Support client expectation management, project timelines, and deliverable schedules
- Ensure all tasks meet internal policies, procedural guidelines, and professional standards
- Stay updated on industry developments and regulatory shifts affecting clients and the tax field
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving tax review processes and workflows
- Manage priorities, deliverables, and deadlines for tax preparation activities
- Operate autonomously or collaboratively within a team environment
