About the Role

The role involves managing and maintaining Open LMS environments, providing technical support, performing system upgrades, monitoring system performance, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure reliable and secure learning platform operations.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain Open LMS platform performance and uptime
  • Respond to technical issues and resolve system-related incidents
  • Perform routine system maintenance and scheduled updates
  • Collaborate with support teams to troubleshoot user-reported problems
  • Maintain system documentation and configuration records
  • Implement security patches and ensure compliance with standards
  • Assist in onboarding new clients to the LMS platform
  • Support integration of third-party tools and plugins
  • Manage user access and permissions within the system
  • Work with development teams on bug fixes and enhancements
  • Conduct system backups and disaster recovery procedures
  • Optimize server performance and database queries
  • Track and report on system metrics and service levels
  • Participate in on-call rotation for critical issues
  • Ensure adherence to change management protocols
  • Assist in testing and deploying new LMS features
  • Maintain awareness of platform release cycles
  • Provide input on system scalability and architecture
  • Support compliance with data privacy regulations
  • Coordinate with infrastructure teams on hosting environments
  • Troubleshoot authentication and single sign-on issues
  • Assist with domain and SSL certificate management
  • Document root cause analyses for recurring issues
  • Contribute to knowledge base resources for support teams
  • Participate in internal training and skill development
