Responsibilities
- Work with and lead the survey field team to deliver projects completed safely, accurately, and professionally
- Collect field data using conventional total stations, digital levels, GPS, 3D scanners, and drone lidar technology
- Perform control, boundary, topographic, utility, ALTA, verification, and monitor surveying
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ party chief experience
- Must possess and accurately represent at least 5 years of experience as a survey party chief
Nice to Have
- Individuals already working as a crew chief with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Someone who can demonstrate multiple years in a senior field technician role
Additional Information
- Travel is required and can vary between 20-45% depending on the project
- Typically the crew is back in Portland for the weekend
- Work involves collaboration with engineers, architects, landscape architects, developers, and public agencies
- Projects may be located in downtown Portland or remote eastern Oregon
- Use of latest survey grade equipment including conventional total stations, digital levels, GPS, 3D scanners, and drone lidar technology
