About the Role
The Support Engineer will provide technical assistance for water treatment systems, troubleshoot operational issues, and collaborate with internal teams and customers to maintain optimal performance and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with industrial water treatment systems
- Conduct on-site evaluations and performance assessments
- Assist in implementing chemical and equipment solutions
- Monitor system data to identify inefficiencies or risks
- Support commissioning and startup of new installations
- Provide technical training to customer personnel
- Maintain accurate service records and reports
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams on project execution
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Perform routine system audits and preventive maintenance
- Recommend process improvements based on field data
- Assist in troubleshooting control systems and instrumentation
- Work under minimal supervision in a field-based role
- Adapt solutions to meet site-specific requirements
- Support emergency response and critical issue resolution
- Document system configurations and changes
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors as needed
- Follow safety protocols during site visits
- Maintain familiarity with product specifications and updates
- Assist in validating new technologies in real-world settings
- Gather feedback for product and service improvement
