Responsibilities
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, materials, and manufacturing methods for potential supply chain integration.
- Collaborate with procurement, design engineering, and production teams to advance sourcing and supply chain objectives.
- Lead ongoing improvement projects and Lean activities across all product categories.
- Evaluate manufacturing methods across suppliers and promote adoption of industry best practices.
- Develop and carry out plans to enhance supplier performance and capabilities.
- Support the design, testing, and refinement of production processes and systems.
- Partner with procurement specialists to transition components to alternative suppliers.
- Coordinate with new product development teams to align sourcing plans and support timely production launches.
- Proactively question existing procedures in a constructive way to enhance operational efficiency.
- Demonstrate proven ability to engage and influence both internal teams and external suppliers.
- Work autonomously when given high-level direction and objectives.
- Maintain awareness of advancements in modern engineering and production methodologies.
- Conduct audits of manufacturing operations to ensure compliance and quality standards.
