Responsibilities
- Design and configure protection relays for substation applications
- Develop control logic for substation automation systems
- Perform system studies to validate protection coordination
- Create detailed engineering drawings and schematics
- Support field commissioning and testing of protection systems
- Review and interpret electrical one-line diagrams
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards
- Collaborate with project teams on multidisciplinary deliverables
- Troubleshoot protection system issues during construction or operation
- Prepare technical specifications for protective devices
- Conduct relay settings calculations and coordination studies
- Interface with clients to understand project requirements
- Support integration of new technologies into existing infrastructure
- Maintain accurate documentation throughout project lifecycle
- Provide engineering analysis for system upgrades and expansions
