Responsibilities
- Apply standard methods and established procedures to support technical design and structural planning for water and wastewater treatment infrastructure.
- Use professional engineering judgment to develop facility layouts, select materials, analyze structural systems, and provide direct supervision and mentorship to entry-level structural engineers.
- Act as the primary technical contact within the Structural Engineering team, operating under the direction of the department leadership.
- Design and plan site development components including access roads, drainage systems, slope stabilization measures, retaining structures, detention basins, and surface water management features.
