AECOM is hiring a Structural Engineer, Data Centers - Remote (U.S.)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct structural analysis and design for various data center structures, including hyperscale and colocation facilities.
  • Create design documentation for tilt-up concrete, precast systems, steel framing, and deep or shallow foundation solutions.
  • Collaborate with architectural, civil, MEP, and construction teams to align designs with project goals and client requirements.
  • Produce construction drawings, technical specifications, and engineering calculations that meet quality, code, and regulatory standards.
  • Offer technical leadership and mentorship to early-career engineers and design staff.
  • Communicate with clients, contractors, and regulatory reviewers to resolve design questions and provide clarifications.
  • Assist in business development by contributing to proposals and developing conceptual structural designs for new projects.
  • Travel as necessary for project-related purposes such as client engagements and site inspections.
