As a Strategic Account Manager for vaccines, you will take ownership of developing and executing long-term account strategies that align with evolving healthcare priorities and drive measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional coordination to deliver tailored solutions that meet the strategic goals of key customer organizations
- Develop comprehensive account plans grounded in deep understanding of customer operations, challenges, and market dynamics
- Drive revenue performance by identifying high-value opportunities and aligning internal resources to support customer success
- Build trusted advisor relationships with senior decision-makers, from C-suite to operational leaders
- Facilitate strategic discussions and business planning sessions to co-create value with customers
- Ensure internal alignment across teams to maintain consistent engagement and strategic focus
- Stay ahead of industry shifts, competitive landscape, and financial drivers influencing customer decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, with at least five years of field-based sales or account management experience in healthcare
- Proven success engaging with health systems, P&T committees, and large organized customers
- Strong business insight and ability to develop strategic plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a self-directed approach to execution
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 75% of time
- Eligibility for company-provided vehicle through fleet program, contingent on safety training and driving record
Compensation & Work Environment
This hybrid role is based in Des Moines, IA, with field and remote flexibility. The salary range is $122,250 – $203,750, with final placement based on experience.
