Anantara is looking for a Stewarding Supervisor to join our team at the Desert Islands Resort & Spa. You will play a vital role in supporting the Stewarding department by ensuring operational standards are met, facilities are impeccably maintained, and the team is well-supervised and trained.
What You'll Do
- Support Stewarding department operations by ensuring all systems and methods of operation are correctly followed.
- Ensure facilities and equipment are properly cleaned.
- Assist in supervising and training Stewarding team members.
- Assist in scheduling work and oversight to ensure health and safety standards are followed.
- Ensure chemicals are utilized and stored correctly.
- Manage equipment stores and ensure all equipment is effectively controlled and stored.
- Ensure equipment breakages are kept to a minimum.
- Play an active role in leading and driving the hotel's energy conservation and environmental policies and practices.
What We're Looking For
- College Diploma or equivalent vocational training.
- Must have worked at least 2 years as a Stewarding Supervisor in Hotels or Restaurants.
- Excellent attention to detail, speed, accuracy and follow-through.
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
- Strongly committed to teamwork and customer service.
- Eye for detail to achieve operational excellence.
Nice to Have
- UAE driving licence would be an added advantage.
Work Mode
This role is onsite at the Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara.
