Responsibilities
- Design and develop user-facing features for Vista and Scoutmap, prioritizing clarity, usability, and functional accuracy.
- Work across the full technology stack with a focus on frontend and customer-visible systems, partnering with backend and data engineering teams.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex product areas, from initial concept and prototyping to deployment and ongoing refinement.
- Define technical standards and best practices by building production-ready systems that guide future development.
- Partner closely with product and design teams to convert user workflows and needs into scalable, intuitive interfaces.
- Collaborate with robotics, data infrastructure, and platform teams to incorporate live telemetry, mapping, and operational data into the product.
- Contribute to Scoutmap development, ensuring shared functionality and insights are integrated into Vista over time.
- Engage in technical planning and code reviews, providing constructive feedback while maintaining ownership of timely delivery.
- Drive improvements in engineering quality, system performance, and reliability across the product engineering team.
Compensation
The base salary for this role ranges from $170,000 to $210,000 annually, with additional equity and full benefits included.
