As a Staff Software Engineer on the Shared Compute Infrastructure team, you will play a key role in building and advancing cloud-based systems that power large-scale applications. You'll lead the architecture and deployment of resilient, high-performance infrastructure, ensuring it meets the demands of a growing technical ecosystem.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement robust cloud infrastructure solutions with a focus on Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
- Establish and promote architectural standards across platforms, ensuring consistency, security, and scalability.
- Work closely with engineering teams to integrate infrastructure solutions that align with business goals.
- Provide technical mentorship, helping engineers grow and maintain high development standards.
- Assess new technologies and lead the adoption of tools that improve system performance and developer efficiency.
- Contribute to long-term technical planning and the development of roadmaps for critical infrastructure initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience designing infrastructure platforms, particularly with Kubernetes and cloud providers like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Deep knowledge of distributed systems, networking, and security principles.
- Track record of leading technical projects and supporting engineering teams through mentorship.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with clear communication skills in technical contexts.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code and automation tooling is highly valued.
- Experience working in global, cross-cultural environments is a plus.
