Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain reliable cloud services that scale with expanding business demands
- Make strategic technology choices that align with organizational goals while upholding security, privacy, and code quality
- Evaluate commercial and open-source tools to guide build-or-buy decisions for new technical capabilities
- Improve current systems by adding features and enhancing performance, reliability, security, and maintainability
- Promote engineering excellence by advocating for best practices, refining code quality, and minimizing technical debt
- Cultivate a deep understanding of user needs and prioritize user-centered design in all technical solutions
- Communicate clearly and consistently within and on behalf of cross-functional product teams
- Collaborate with experts in design, product management, machine learning, and infrastructure, with opportunities to contribute across departments
- Provide mentorship to peers and grow through shared learning with fellow engineers
