About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement security architectures for cloud and on-premise environments
  • Evaluate and integrate security technologies into existing infrastructure
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Support incident response activities with detailed analysis and remediation
  • Develop automation scripts to enhance security monitoring and enforcement
  • Collaborate with development teams to embed security in software lifecycle
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor for vulnerabilities and coordinate timely patching efforts
  • Lead security assessments for new and existing systems
  • Provide expert guidance during security audits and reviews
  • Respond to security alerts and investigate potential breaches
  • Create documentation for security policies, procedures, and configurations
  • Participate in threat modeling for new projects and services
  • Stay current with emerging threats and evolving cybersecurity trends
  • Assist in the development of security awareness and training materials
  • Work with third-party vendors to ensure secure integration practices
  • Optimize security tools for performance and coverage
  • Enforce identity and access management controls
  • Support zero trust initiatives across network and application layers
  • Troubleshoot security-related issues across platforms
  • Promote secure coding practices across engineering teams
  • Evaluate security posture of cloud service providers
  • Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts during security events
  • Drive continuous improvement in security operations

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in cybersecurity or related discipline
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Security Specialty
  • Experience in healthcare or highly regulated industries
  • Knowledge of data loss prevention technologies
  • Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms
  • Experience with security automation and orchestration tools
  • Background in penetration testing or red team exercises
  • Understanding of application security testing tools
  • Prior experience with security governance frameworks
