Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive test automation strategy and technical direction for the organization
- Design robust, enterprise-level testing frameworks tailored for distributed systems, data workflows, and API-based services
- Collaborate with engineering leaders to integrate quality assurance practices early in product development and architectural planning
- Lead technical evaluations and promote standardized testability approaches across development teams
- Implement performance metrics and monitoring dashboards to assess test coverage, effectiveness, and deployment readiness
- Coach and support engineers across teams to adopt a proactive, quality-centric engineering mindset
- Drive organization-wide quality improvement programs focused on system observability, reliability, and automation efficiency
- Monitor advancements in software testing and ensure the organization's tools and methods remain current and effective

Compensation
The annual US base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000 - $150,000 + equity + benefits. Pay scale is flexible depending on experience. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, relevant education and training.
