As the Staff Program Manager, you will lead the strategic direction of the IT and Infosec Vendor Management Office (VMO), overseeing vendor governance, financial performance, and procurement policy for a growing Fintech company. You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of the IT/Security Opex budget—exceeding $20 million—ensuring accurate forecasting, transparent reporting, and disciplined financial oversight across all vendor engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end financial planning cycle for IT and Security, including budget ownership, forecasting, and T&E approvals
- Develop and maintain a unified view of vendor spend, savings, and forecasts for executive leadership reporting
- Design and execute application portfolio rationalization strategies to reduce redundancy and optimize licensing
- Negotiate major contracts and sourcing initiatives to achieve consistent cost reductions of 10–15% or more
- Lead strategic relationships with key IT and Security vendors, including quarterly business reviews, performance tracking, and roadmap alignment
- Oversee the renewal lifecycle with cross-functional alignment across IT, Security, Procurement, Legal, and Finance
- Enforce compliance with the Global Software Procurement Policy, minimizing unauthorized purchases and shadow IT
- Optimize VMO operations using Jira, JSM, ITAM, and SaaS platforms to improve workflow, data integrity, and decision support
- Develop and maintain executive dashboards that serve as the authoritative source for vendor and spend analytics
- Communicate changes in licensing, tools, and vendor strategy to stakeholders with clarity and precision
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years in vendor management, IT procurement, or IT Asset Management within a technology or SaaS environment
- Proven success in structuring and scaling renewal processes to meet strategic and financial goals
- Strong track record in contract negotiation with measurable savings outcomes
- Experience using Jira, JSM, Coupa, and ITAM or SaaS management platforms to inform executive decisions
- Ability to lead application rationalization efforts without disrupting business operations
- Skilled at building partnerships across Finance, Legal, Security, and application teams
- Excellent communication skills, with experience drafting policy and presenting to senior leadership
- Preference for structured, repeatable processes and data-driven reporting
Work Environment

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $144,000—$180,000 USD. Includes participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Program with discounts.
