Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the core data infrastructure that supports analytics, reporting, experimentation, and AI capabilities.
- Collaborate with Engineering teams to establish, verify, and deploy tracking for product features prior to launch.
- Create and oversee scalable dbt models that convert raw event data into reliable, analysis-ready datasets.
- Define and maintain semantic layers, standardized calculations, and approved metrics to ensure consistency across reporting and analytics tools.
- Produce verified datasets that fuel modern analytics platforms including Looker, Omni, Hex, and comparable systems.
- Work closely with Product Managers to turn business needs into robust, reusable data models.
- Oversee data pipelines, detect tracking deficiencies and data quality problems, and implement sustainable fixes.
- Enhance data modeling practices, governance, documentation, and usability across the analytics ecosystem.
- Use artificial intelligence to streamline analytics engineering tasks such as modeling, testing, documentation, and coding.
Compensation
This position offers an annual salary between $125,200 and $195,600, with most new hires placed at $148,700. A full benefits package is included.
