About the Role

Responsibilities
- Verify prescription accuracy before dispensing medications

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws
- Maintain up-to-date patient records and insurance billing information
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient therapy
- Manage inventory of pharmaceutical supplies and controlled substances
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff as needed
- Participate in medication safety and quality assurance initiatives
- Process insurance claims and resolve coverage issues
- Administer vaccinations in accordance with training and regulations
- Respond to drug interaction alerts and recommend appropriate actions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace
- Stay current with changes in pharmaceutical products and guidelines
- Support compliance audits and inspection readiness
- Assist in training new pharmacy team members
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Ensure proper storage and handling of temperature-sensitive medications
